Job summary

Amgen seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity to cover North Miami and Puerto Rico. This field-based role provides scientific support to Opinion Leaders and Population Health Decision Makers, aligning with Medical Affairs to improve patient outcomes.

You will engage with investigators, present balanced clinical data, mentor peers, and support congress activities while ensuring compliant communications.

Qualifications

• Pharmaceutical/medical affairs acumen with ability to communicate complex data clearly.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
• Experience presenting scientific information to diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy under MSL leadership.
• Engage with investigators and PHDMs to communicate data and outcomes.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker training.
• Provide and present field observations to inform Amgen strategies.
• Mentor other MSLs and complete administrative responsibilities.
