Job summary

Amgen Inc. is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in Newark, NJ. This field-based role reports to the MSL Lead and focuses on scientific exchange with OLs, investigators, and healthcare providers to advance obesity-related programs and patient outcomes.

You will support sponsored research, engage with populations across IDNs, and participate in cross-functional One Amgen initiatives while maintaining compliance and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or professional medical degree with relevant Medical Affairs experience.
• Experience in Medical Affairs roles at biotech/pharma companies.
• 2+ years in a Medical Science Liaison role.
• Current experience in Scientific/Medical Affairs.
• Cardiometabolic and/or Obesity and Related Conditions expertise.
• Experience with designated territory.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with investigators, sites and PHDMs to communicate data of clinical value.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker training as needed.
• Mentor other MSLs and complete administrative duties (CRM, reports, compliance).
