Job summary

Amgen is recruiting a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity & Related Conditions covering IA/NE/SD. This field-based role serves as the primary scientific resource for clinicians, researchers, and decision makers, delivering balanced clinical data to improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree + 2 years Medical Affairs experience OR Master's degree + 6 years Medical Affairs experience OR Bachelor's degree + 8 years Medical Affairs experience.
• Preferred: Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. (or other doctoral degrees)
• Seven+ years in a medically related field including 1 year of clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders, Population Health Decision Makers, and other healthcare providers.
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Engage with investigators, sites, and PHDMs to communicate scientific data of clinical value.
• Provide and present field observations to inform Amgen strategies.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker training as needed.
