Job summary

Valneva SE is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for the Central Territory in the United States. This senior field medical role engages with healthcare professionals, researchers, and public-health leaders to advance vaccine science and real-world evidence.

The MSL will lead territory-specific medical strategy for the Eastern U.S., build peer-to-peer partnerships, and provide balanced scientific responses within regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of experience in Medical Affairs, vaccines, infectious disease, clinical development, epidemiology, or biopharmaceutical industry.
• Experience discussing clinical evidence with external experts and explaining study design, endpoints, limitations, safety data, and real-world relevance.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of territory-specific medical strategy for the Eastern U.S.
• Establish long-term peer-to-peer partnerships with infectious-disease physicians and other stakeholders.
• Provide scientific exchange on disease epidemiology, vaccine science, clinical development, and real-world evidence.
• Capture and communicate external insights to inform medical strategy and access planning.
• Identify research opportunities and collaborate with internal partners to support feasibility and execution.
• Support internal medical training, advisory boards, and congress engagement.
