Job summary

Valneva USA is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for the Central Territory to lead scientific engagement with external stakeholders across the Central United States. The role serves as a credible scientific partner to physicians, researchers, and health leaders, while maintaining non-promotional Medical Affairs standards.

The ideal candidate will have an advanced scientific degree, 5+ years in Medical Affairs or vaccines, and 3+ years as an MSL, with strong communication skills and

Qualifications

• Advance degree in a relevant clinical or scientific discipline.
• Five+ years in Medical Affairs, vaccines, or related field.
• Three+ years of field medical/MSL experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a territory-specific medical strategy for the Eastern U.S.
• Establish long-term peer-to-peer partnerships with infectious-disease clinicians and public-health professionals.
• Conduct proactive scientific exchange on epidemiology, vaccine science, and real-world evidence.
• Provide balanced scientific responses to requests within policies and regulations.
• Capture and synthesize external insights to inform medical strategy and access planning.
• Identify investigators and study sites; support feasibility and execution.
• Support medical education, advisory boards, and scientific congress engagement.
• Serve as internal scientific resource on the Eastern regional landscape.
