Qualifications

• Five+ years in Medical Affairs, vaccines, or biopharma.
• Three+ years field MSL experience with complex stakeholder networks.
• Experience discussing clinical evidence with sophisticated external experts.
• Expertise in vaccines, infectious diseases, epidemiology, travel medicine, or related areas.
• Strong ability to work autonomously in a matrix organization.
• Exceptional scientific communication and relationship-management skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across the Eastern U.S. near major airports.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of a territory-specific medical strategy for the Eastern U.S.
• Establish long-term peer-to-peer partnerships with infectious-disease physicians, travel-medicine specialists, vaccinologists, researchers, and public-health leaders.
• Conduct proactive scientific exchange on disease epidemiology, vaccine science, and real-world evidence.
• Provide balanced scientific responses to unsolicited medical information requests within policies.
• Capture and communicate external insights to inform medical strategy, evidence generation, and access planning.
• Identify investigators and study sites; support research feasibility and execution.
• Support compliant medical education, advisory boards, and congress engagement.
• Serve as an internal scientific resource on the Eastern regional landscape.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining compliance and non-promotional standards.
• Support internal scientific training and input into medical-review, planning, and launch-readiness activities.
• Maintain current knowledge of peer-reviewed literature and vaccine-policy developments.
• Recognize, document, and report adverse events and safety information.
