Job description

We are a specialty vaccine company that develops, manufactures, and commercializes prophylactic vaccines for infectious diseases addressing unmet medical needs.

  • Establish long-term peer-to-peer partnerships with leading infectious-disease physicians, travel-medicine specialists, vaccinologists, epidemiologists, academic centers, public-health professionals, and other relevant stakeholders

  • Conduct proactive and responsive scientific exchange on disease epidemiology, preventive-vaccine science, clinical development, efficacy, safety, and real-world evidence

  • Provide balanced and accurate scientific responses to unsolicited requests for medical information, within approved policies and applicable regulations

  • Identify research opportunities, potential investigators, and qualified study sites; collaborate with internal partners to support research feasibility and execution

  • Support compliant medical education, advisory boards, scientific congress engagement, and other field-medical initiatives

  • Serve as an internal scientific resource on the Eastern regional landscape, including emerging evidence, clinical-practice variation, stakeholder priorities, and public-health dynamics

  • Collaborate constructively with cross-functional colleagues while maintaining the scientific independence, compliance standards, and non-promotional character of Medical Affairs

  • Support internal scientific training and provide expert input into medical-review, planning, and launch-readiness activities as appropriate

  • Maintain current knowledge of peer-reviewed literature, clinical guidelines, vaccine-policy developments, and the infectious-disease landscape

  • Recognize, document, and promptly report adverse events, product complaints, and other reportable safety information

Esseential Qualifications/ Experience

  • Five or more years of relevant experience in Medical Affairs, vaccines, infectious disease, clinical development, epidemiology, public health, or the biopharmaceutical industry

  • Three or more years of field medical/MSL experience preferred, with demonstrated success managing complex scientific stakeholder networks

  • Experience discussing clinical evidence with sophisticated external experts and explaining study design, endpoints, limitations, safety data, and real-world relevance

  • Expertise in vaccines, infectious diseases, epidemiology, travel medicine, immunization policy, or a related therapeutic area

  • Strong ability to work autonomously, prioritize strategically, manage a geographically broad territory, and operate effectively in a matrix organization

  • Exceptional scientific communication, presentation, insight-generation, and relationship-management capabilities

  • Willingness and ability to travel extensively throughout the Eastern U.S.; residence near a major airport is strongly preferred
