Job summary

Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (Sr Manager) in the CNS area to advance an ecosystem-based engagement model. The MSL provides clinical, scientific and health economics information to KIs, LPLs, clinicians and patient groups, aligning with regional strategy.

Travel up to 70% of time; may cover multiple products; collaborate with ecosystem partners; contribute to trials and training; support safety and medical training; join as mentor.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or Master’s degree with equivalent CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and care delivery with clinicians and decision makers.
• Strong business acumen and ability to present evidence-based value.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and cross-functional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Contributes clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans and field activities.
• Builds relationships with scientific and medical customers to inform ecosystem strategy.
• Develops understanding of ecosystem alignment with patient-centric priorities and product use.
• Serves as credible source of evidence-based information across clinical and economic domains.
• Mentors peers and supports training of speakers and scientific discussions.
• Supports clinical trials, health economics, and Investigator-Sponsored Trials as needed.
