Otsuka America Pharmaceutical, Inc. is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for CNS to develop ecosystem-based strategies and engage KIs, LPLs, and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.

The role covers multiple CNS products, delivering evidence-based information and supporting trials, with up to 70% travel and collaboration across a matrix team to align regional medical strategies.

Qualifications

• MD/DO, PharmD or PhD in life sciences or MSc with CNS experience.
• Minimum 2 years of pharmaceutical medical affairs or relevant work experience.
• Understanding of health systems and patient care delivery.
• Experience working with healthcare professionals and decision makers.
• Excellent communication and collaboration; able to lead across functions.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of time depending on territory.

Responsibilities

• Contribute clinical and scientific perspectives to local execution plans.
• Build and leverage relationships with key scientific/medical customers and organizations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of the ecosystem to align with patient-centric strategy.
• Provide evidence-based information on products from clinical, economic and humanistic perspectives.
• Mentor peers and support other areas of the organization including safety and medical education.
• Assist with clinical trials programs and contribute to site selection and performance.
