AstraZeneca plc in the United States seeks a Senior Medical Science Liaison specialized in Cell Therapy to cover Kentucky, Ohio, and Tennessee. You will act as the local medical voice, develop strategies, and support hematology/oncology initiatives in multiple myeloma.

The role requires an advanced scientific degree, 5+ years in hematology/oncology, strong scientific communication, and willingness to travel 40–60% within the U.S.

Formación

• 5+ years of experience in hematology/oncology, with field medical or scientific engagement experience
• Experience supporting development/launch of a pharmaceutical product in the U.S.
• Ability to distill complex data into clear messages for diverse audiences
• Experience working in a matrixed Medical Affairs, Commercial and R&D environment
• Ability to travel 40-60% domestically (car/train/plane)

Responsabilidades

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders and HCPs across academic and community centers within the territory
• Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary teams including hematologists/oncologists, cell therapy physicians, APPs, pharmacists, and staff
• Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific and product information per policy
• Establish as a trusted scientific advisor to internal and external stakeholders
• Educate teams on disease state, CAR-T mechanisms, myeloma landscape, safety, manufacturing processes, and infusion center patient management
