Job summary

AstraZeneca plc is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison in cell therapy for the Midwestern US to act as the local medical voice in hematology and myeloma. You will build local medical strategy, support infusion centers, and collaborate across Medical Affairs, Commercial, and R&D to advance patient care and scientific exchange.

The role requires 5+ years in hematology/oncology with field medical experience, advanced scientific degree, and ability to travel 40-60% domestically.

Qualifications

• Advanced scientific degree in a health science or clinical discipline.
• 5+ years in hematology/oncology with field medical or equivalent role, preferably cell therapy and/or multiple myeloma.
• Experience launching/launching a pharmaceutical product in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scientific relationships with hematology/cell therapy thought leaders and HCPs in assigned territory.
• Engage in scientific exchanges with multidisciplinary teams.
• Respond to unsolicited requests for scientific information per policy.
• Serve as trusted scientific advisor and respond to scientific questions.
