Job summary

Axsome Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Science Liaison/Senior MSL to advance the ADA franchise in a field-based role covering CA, OR, WA, AK and HI. You will communicate Axsome science, execute the national medical affairs plan, and support other pipeline programs as needed.

This role requires residency within the territory, advanced degree, and ability to travel up to 75%. Expect collaboration with cross-functional teams and ongoing education on neuroscience therapies.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in a life sciences field required.
• Previous MSL experience preferred.
• Experience in neurology, neuroscience, Alzheimer's disease and/or geriatric psychiatry preferred.
• Must reside within the geographic territory.
• Willingness to travel up to 75%.
• Ability to meet health industry credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop relationships with healthcare professionals to raise awareness of Axsome’s mission.
• Provide fair and balanced scientific information to HCPs and internal partners.
• Lead formal presentations to HCPs, external stakeholders, etc.
• Translate field insights into clinical and business actions.
• Support company-sponsored trials and investigator-initiated research proposals.
• Maintain knowledge of neuroscience therapies and Axsome pipeline.
