Job summary

TBC is seeking an experienced Database Manager to lead the MS SQL Server environment, overseeing administration, performance, security, and reliability. You will guide a small database/reporting team and collaborate with IT, security, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years of SQL Server admin experience, strong T-SQL skills, and familiarity with Always On, SSIS/SSRS, and PowerShell automation. On-call rotations are required.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Microsoft SQL Server administration in production environments.
• 2+ years of technical leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, T-SQL, Always On, backup/recovery, SQL Server Agent, and performance tuning.
• Working knowledge of SSIS and SSRS.
• Experience with PowerShell automation.
• Understanding of Windows Server, storage, and virtualization as they relate to database performance.
• Experience with database security and audited or regulated environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and occasional after-hours maintenance.
