• Coordinate physical data models with data modelers.

• Build and support development, test, production environments.
• Advise on best architectural practices for DB performance.
• Plan and coordinate database changes and data migrations.
• Conduct capacity planning to ensure availability.

• Monitor queries and maintenance; automate monitoring where possible.
• Perform admin tasks including estimates, status reports, and lead meetings.
