Job summary

Northrop Grumman Space Systems seeks a Sr. Principal Modeling & Simulation Systems Engineer (level 4) in Roy, UT to support the Sentinel program.

You will drive integration across MS&A teams and collaborate with IPTs to coordinate analysis and solutions for missile systems and launch facilities. The role emphasizes leadership in cross-disciplinary efforts, strong communication, and deep knowledge of systems engineering and M&S verification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline with a minimum 8 years of related experience; 6 years with a Master’s; or 4 years with a PhD
• 1 year of technical experiences in mechanical/aerospace product development
• 1 year of experience with MATLAB, Python, C++, or similar
• Must be a US Citizen with an active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope9<6 years), with an ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) approval within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business need.
• Knowledge of Systems Engineering principles

Responsibilities

• Integrate across the various AVE MS&A teams; Flight Analysis, Targeting, Structures and Aero/Fluids to help coordinate activities/analysis across disciplines
• Coordinate horizontal integration across other IPTs within AVE, such as Guidance, Payloads, OBTE, etc.
• Present difficult concepts to management and lead integrated efforts to get results across the finish line
