Job summary

Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures across all patient ages. You will position patients, select protocols, and maintain quality control while adhering to ACR guidelines. The role includes remote operation support and on-site training of staff.

The ideal candidate holds an accredited Radiologic Technology degree, 2 years MRI experience, and ARRT MRI certification with BLS. This is an on-site role at the Atlantic Station site in Atlanta, GA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist.
• Advanced certification by the ARRT in MRI (MR) required.
• BLS certified required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures on patients in all age groups.
• Positions patient and selects the correct protocol.
• Follows imaging protocols and quality control per ACR guidelines.
• Maintains proficiency in non-scanner related components.
• Remotely initiates and controls scanning and technical parameters.
• Documents scan details and any deviations; trains on-site staff.
