Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures across all age groups and to ensure protocol adherence and patient safety. The role requires on-site work at the Atlantic Station facility in Atlanta, GA.

The successful candidate will have an accredited Radiologic Technology program, 2 years MRI experience, and ARRT MRI certification with BLS. Responsibilities include patient positioning, protocol selection, and quality control.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program required.
• 2 years experience as an MRI Technologist required.
• Advanced ARRT MRI (MR) certification and BLS certification required.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates competence and proficiency in performing all MRI procedures on patients in every age group.
• Positions patient, selects the correct protocol, and utilizes all required equipment.
• Maintains competency in all non-scanner related components.
• Accurately follows established imaging protocols for exam being performed.
• Performs quality control procedures in accordance with the ACR guidelines.
• Provides quality age specific care in accordance with prescribed standards and practices.
• Maintains proficiency to perform advance MR procedures.
• Regularly assumes responsibilities and provides direct care for the more complex patients.
• Functions independently with little guidance from manager.
• Performs pre-Scan review of orders and protocols for appropriateness, reviews patient labs for renal function, confirms patient readiness via communication with on-site staff and employs all safety behaviors to validate patients identity using 2 separate identifiers.
