Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Senior Product Owner to lead the MRI SAAS product (Mainframe Resource Intelligence) in Plano, TX. You will own the product roadmap, prioritize the backlog, and drive feature delivery with Engineering, UX, Support, and cross-functional partners.

Deep mainframe domain knowledge and strong executive communication are essential. Responsibilities include prioritizing roadmaps, shaping features into actionable user stories, and removing blockers to meet deadlines and quality

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Engineering
• 8+ years of experience in product/service/project/program management or enterprise software development
• Technical knowledge of mainframe software, transformation trends, and insights
• Technical knowledge of GCP or cloud-based applications, Angular or React UI frameworks, and databases
• Experience managing complex cross-functional, cross-disciplinary projects
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills including executive level presentations
• Strong stakeholder management and effective communication skills
• Experience working with product and engineering teams in a collaborative software development environment and defining product backlogs and prioritization
• Management of customer requests, issues and/or escalations.

Responsibilities

• Act as intermediary between market/business requirements and R&D to advocate for the product internally.
• Play vital role in planning and prioritization of product roadmap work and product support issues with the scrum team.
• Prioritize product features by analyzing customer needs and breaking them down into functional stories working closely with the Architecture and Engineering.
• Manage priorities of multiple product backlogs and execution with scrum teams using tools such as Rally, Jira etc.
• Remove roadblocks across teams to meet quality standards, project deadlines, and business objectives.
• Participate and present product functions to internal, external stakeholders and customers during demo sessions, marketing events and/or executive reviews.
• Partner with Architecture teams solutioning new features and capabilities, including but not limited to exploring applicability of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning technologies.
• Measure customer adoption and retention based on the GTM plan and tactics to achieve product OKRs and KPIs.
