Job summary

Leidos invites applications for a Sr. CORE Network Engineer to support government customers’ global enterprise networks.

The role focuses on modernizing network components while ensuring service delivery to mission-critical operations, with hands-on router engineering experience preferred. The position involves owning MPLS WAN architecture, developing services, evaluating lab equipment, and supporting security accreditation processes, plus documenting technical work and providing Tier-4 support

Qualifications

• Requires TS/SCI with Poly clearance.
• 16 years of experience or combination of education/work history.
• DoD 8140 IAT Level 2 compliance.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for MPLS WAN overall architecture.
• Developing MPLS WAN services solution.
• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing.
• Assisting with the security accreditation process.
• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation.
• On as‑needed basis, support Tier‑4 production troubleshooting and proactive network analysis.
