Job summary

Weatherford is seeking a Senior Project Engineer in Houston to lead complex product, equipment, and lifecycle initiatives. You will coordinate across Product Engineering, Manufacturing, R&M, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver safe, compliant, technically sound solutions.

You’ll mentor staff, manage risks, and drive multidisciplinary efforts from requirements through delivery, with emphasis on reliability and lifecycle optimization.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Typically 8+ years of relevant engineering experience; equivalent combination considered.
• Experience leading complex engineering projects across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience supporting manufacturing, assembly, testing, repair or maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for complex engineering projects across mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and controls systems.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, R&M, and Supply Chain.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and Weatherford Management System adherence.
