The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine, Inc. seeks an Education Coordinator II to support the Operational Readiness Initiative.

You will instruct, evaluate and update instructional materials and Programs of Instruction, assist with course planning and execution, and support training coordination and risk management for Mountain, Cold Weather, and Dive Medicine Courses. This position supports Uniformed Services University Graduate School of Nursing and involves

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3-5 years experience required.
• Knowledge of Military mountaineering standards both basic and advanced.
• Extensive experience in hands on mountaineering instruction.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Serves as Military Mountaineering SME for Mountain, Cold Weather and Dive Medicine Courses.
• Evaluates and updates all instructional materials and validates Programs of Instruction for Mountain, Cold Weather and Dive Medicine Courses.
• Plans, organizes and conducts Mountain, Cold Weather and Dive Medicine Courses with course director.
• Instructs and maintains Mountaineering POI and equipment at Camp Ethan Allen, Vermont; coordinates with Army Mountain Warfare School.
• Conducts risk management assessments for Mountain and Cold Weather Courses.
