Job summary

Yamaha Motor Corporation, USA in Kennesaw, GA seeks a Product Development Engineer for Motorsports Accessories. You will own end-to-end design from concept through production release, leading development of motorsports components with strong engineering judgment.

Responsibilities include prototyping, CAD (SolidWorks/NX), DFMA, tolerance analysis, and collaboration with testing, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure quality, cost targets, and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; Master's preferred.
• 6-10 years of progressive mechanical design experience, including ownership through production release.
• Experience in motorsports, powersports, automotive, or high-performance systems preferred.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks and NX; DFA/DFM understanding.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end design and development of motorsports accessories from concept to production release.
• Serve as technical owner for components or subsystems, guiding decisions toward cost targets.
• Collaborate with testing teams to validate performance, durability, and production readiness.
• Analyze test data and drive design iterations to meet quality and reliability goals.
• Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing partners to communicate design intent and resolve issues.
• Support manufacturing readiness through design reviews and tolerance analysis.
