Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- 5+ years of design experience (with Bachelor's).
- 2+ years of design experience (with Master's).
- CAD experience with Siemens NX; FEA knowledge.
- Familiarity with PMDC, Universal, Induction, and Switched Reluctance motors.
- Understanding of motor controls, battery tech, vibration and sound analysis.
Responsibilities
- Lead design, prototyping, testing and troubleshooting motors for complex projects.
- Establish and drive test regimens for components and assemblies.
- Conduct experiments, simulations, and data-driven conclusions.
- Perform root cause analysis of motor test failures.
- Develop part specifications with suppliers to meet performance goals.
