Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Senior Design Engineer for Motors to lead motor design, testing, and optimization for mass production across global operations. You will collaborate with Global Motor Engineering, Operations, and local teams to define test plans, drive engineering decisions, and ensure high-performance motor solutions.

The role requires extensive experience in electrical/mechanical motor design, CAD (Siemens NX), and FEA, with a focus on brushless DC and PMDC motors, battery tech,

Qualifications

Bachelor or Master in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is required.
5+ years in related motor design experience.
Experience with CAD (Siemens NX) and FEA.
Willingness to travel up to 10% domestically/internationally.

Responsibilities

Lead motor design, prototyping, testing, and troubleshooting.
Establish and drive test regimens for verification.
Perform experiments, simulations, and data analysis.
Drive supplier relationships and part specifications.
Mentor junior engineers and lead meetings.
