Milwaukee Tool seeks a Motor Engineer II to design, prototype, test, and optimize motors for mid to high-level projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and external suppliers to advance motor technology and ensure robust performance across products.

Responsibilities include creating test plans, driving roadmaps, and documenting results while adhering to schedules and Milwaukee Tool processes. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in a design related role.
• Familiarity with motor theory, EM analysis, motor construction and manufacturing methods, and CAD/FEA.

Responsabilités

• Design, prototype, test, and troubleshoot motors for mid to high-level complexity projects.
• Collaborate with external suppliers to research and investigate new technologies.
• Support creation of and drive a roadmap for motor technology.
• Self-manage and track projects, design contributions, and test workflows.
