RTX in Tucson, AZ is seeking junior to mid-career engineers with electronics knowledge to design and test electronic products and systems. The team focuses on circuit cards, power end-use applications, and robust motor control systems.

Minimum is a STEM bachelor’s with 2+ years' experience; familiarity with MATLAB, oscilloscopes, and analog electronics is valued. On-site relocation is eligible, with a 9/80 schedule and strong team collaboration.

Qualifikationen

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in science, technology, engineering, or mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 2 years of prior relevant experience.
• Design, analysis, test, and/or simulation experience with one or more motor types (Brushed, BLDC, PMSM) is a plus.
• Experience using tools such as MATLAB, MathCAD, Mathematica, or similar tools.
• Experience with analog electronics design (FETs/BJTs, op-amp, filters, termination, comparators).
• Lab experience with oscilloscopes, DMMs, generators, power supplies, and data acquisition systems.

Aufgaben

• Design, analyze, simulate, test, and document power conversion circuitry, focusing on three-phase inverter design and sensor interfacing.
• Draft and design at circuit card level.
• Help see circuit card development from requirements to integration testing.
• Drive schedules for circuit-level tasks.
• Guide ECAD drafters and assist in layer stackup definition.
