Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Motor Control Engineer to join the Hardware Platform Organization. You will design and implement field-oriented control for BLDC/PMSM motors, build MIL/SIL/HIL models in MATLAB/Simulink, and develop robust embedded firmware on microcontrollers with hard real-time constraints.

Qualifications

• Experience designing motor control algorithms (FOC, trapezoidal, PMSM).
• Strong control theory knowledge (PID tuning, state estimation).
• Experience with HIL integration and real-time testing.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and auto-code generation.

Responsibilities

• Develop motor control algorithms for BLDC/PMSM motors.
• Create MIL/SIL/HIL models in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Implement firmware in C for microcontrollers with hard real-time constraints.
• Support HIL validation with real-time simulators.
