Job summary

SWBC Mortgage Corporation seeks a senior technical designer/developer to architect and support enterprise mortgage tech, with emphasis on ICE Encompass LOS, SQL data work, APIs, automation, and secure apps. You will help modernize systems, support production, and enable vendor integrations in a collaborative, high-demand environment.

The role demands deep Encompass expertise, advanced SQL, API development, and DevOps practices, with a focus on data quality, reporting, and scalable systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, or related field.
• 10+ years designing and building applications including mortgage tech.
• Experience with ICE Encompass LOS and related APIs.
• Strong SQL Server/T-SQL development and ETL skills.
• Proficient in REST, JSON/XML, and C#/.NET environments.
• Experience with API-driven integrations and vendor ecosystems.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, GitHub Enterprise, and cloud services.

Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support mortgage technology solutions focused on Encompass LOS.
• Design and maintain SQL Server objects and ETL/operational reporting.
• Build API-driven integrations and workflow automations across platforms.
• Develop secure, scalable business apps using .NET/C#, REST APIs, and modern tooling.
• Troubleshoot production issues, optimize queries, and support reporting.
• Support DevOps, source control, CI/CD, cloud, and IaC practices.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions and document processes.
