First American is seeking a Mortgage Servicing Analyst to join our team. You will support Year End and regulatory reporting, analyze data, and drive process improvements within a collaborative environment. Strong Excel skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under regulatory deadlines are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Typically requires BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically requires 4-8 years of directly related experience.
• Mortgage servicing experience with direct exposure to Year End, IRS information reporting, or comparable regulated reporting processes strongly preferred.

Aufgaben

• Conduct business process evaluations to identify requirements, gaps, and risks.
• Support mortgage servicing Year End and regulatory reporting, including IRS Forms 1098 and 1099, reconciliation, and related activities.
• Support IRIS compliant Year End reporting processing.
• Perform complex analysis and cross-platform reconciliation to validate reporting accuracy and data integrity.
• Investigate reporting discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
• Define requirements and participate in solution design, testing, and deployment.
• Evaluate system functionality against regulatory requirements and servicing practices.
• Develop and maintain processes, controls, and audit-ready documentation.
• Collaborate with Technology, Compliance, Operations, and vendors to resolve reporting issues.
• Create reports; research data to identify trends and risks; escalate as needed.
• Other duties as assigned
