Renasant Bank is seeking a Senior Mortgage Banker to establish and maintain relationships with branch managers, Realtors, and builders to generate production of residential loan products. This role acts as the mortgage loan process facilitator and collaborates with mortgage operations staff.

The candidate will originate one- to four-family residential loans (conforming, conventional, FHA, VA) and coordinate loan production within the service area, ensuring timely documentation and regulatory

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 5 years of Mortgage Origination/Banker experience.
• Ability to originate one to four family residential mortgage products.
• Thorough knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA, FHA, VA, and other general mortgage lending procedures.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing and to deal cordially with the public.
• Ability to organize time effectively.
• Ability to learn and comprehend regulatory directives and procedures quickly.
• Represent Renasant Bank in a professional manner as customer-focused.
• Work independently and make decisions following state and federal guidelines.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsabilités

• Originate all types of one to four family residential loans.
• Coordinate loan production throughout assigned service area.
• Maintain prescribed system status reports of all loan cases in process.
• Report monthly on calls to banks, realtors, and builders.
• Schedule appointments to take applications at customer locations or branches.
• Gather information required for closing and maintain status reports.
• Assist customers with closing contingencies.
• Prepare Good Faith Estimate and Truth-In-Lending within 72 hours of application.
• Educate branch personnel on conforming loan requirements and program changes.
• Establish rapport with local real estate community and solicit mortgage loans.
