Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker to grow residential loan production across a defined service area. You will establish relationships with branch managers, realtors, and builders and act as the loan process facilitator from origination to closing.

In this outside sales role you will educate clients on program options (conforming, FHA, VA) and coordinate with Mortgage Banking staff to ensure timely processing and compliance.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of residential mortgage lending products and guidelines.
• Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with realtors, builders, and branch staff.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Originate 1–4 family residential loans and manage the loan process.
• Build and maintain relationships with realtors, builders, and branches.
• Coordinate loan production and monitor status across service area.
• Explain program options and collect required documents from borrowers.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
