Job summary

Renasant Bank is seeking a Mortgage Banker to originate 1-4 family residential loans and build strong ties with branch managers, Realtors, and builders across the service area. This role drives production and coordinates with mortgage operations to maintain smooth processing.

The position requires knowledge of conforming, FHA, VA products and strong client communication, with travel to assist customers at branches or on-site locations.

Qualifications

• Ability to originate 1-4 family residential mortgage products.
• Thorough knowledge of FHLMC/FNMA, FHA, VA, and other mortgage lending procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication; professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Originate all types of 1-4 family residential loans.
• Coordinate loan production with the Mortgage Banking Department.
• Maintain status reports of all loans in process.
• Provide weekly progress reviews to Realtors and builders.
• Educate branch personnel on conforming loan requirements and inquiries.
• Schedule applications at client locations and assist with documentation.
• Ensure timely gathering of information for closings and reports.
