Job summary

Renasant Bank in Baton Rouge seeks a Mortgage Banker to establish and maintain relationships with branch managers, realtors and builders to generate production of 1-4 family residential loans. You will facilitate the loan process and coordinate with mortgage operations staff across a designated service area.

The role requires originating loans, managing loan statuses, and educating partners on conforming, FHA/VA, and conventional programs while adhering to regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to originate 1-4 family residential mortgage products.
• Thorough knowledge of conforming, FHA, VA and conventional programs.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage time and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Originate all types of 1-4 family residential loans.
• Coordinate loan production and communicate program changes.
• Maintain status reports of loans in process and report monthly.
• Educate branch personnel and real estate partners about loan products.
• Gather documentation and assist borrowers through closing contingencies.
• Prepare Good Faith Estimate and Truth-In-Lending within 72 hours.
• Attend production meetings and maintain required licenses.
