Fulton Bank is seeking a Mortgage Document Specialist to review, audit, and finalize closed mortgage loan files to ensure compliance with investor and regulatory guidelines. You will cross-train across processing functions and handle complex packages, mentoring junior staff and resolving escalated issues.

The role requires 3+ years of banking or mortgage post-closing experience, with strong knowledge of mortgage documents and investor guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA) and familiarity

• 3+ years banking or mortgage post-closing required.
• Strong knowledge of mortgage documents and investor guidelines.
• Familiarity with LOS systems (Encompass).
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsabilidades

• Process more complex loan packages, mentor junior staff and resolve escalated issues.
• Respond to investor suspense items and cure deficiencies promptly.
• Assist in preparing for investor audits and regulatory examinations.
• Scan and index mortgage closing documents and trailing packages for retention.
• Organize loan documents per investor and Fulton Bank requirements.
• Upload and deliver mortgage files to investors timely.
• Track and resolve post-closing document deficiencies.
• Assist in submitting trailing documents.
• Secure insurance from HUD, VA, and USDA on government insured loans.
