Job summary

Cape & Coast Bank in Hyannis, MA is seeking a Loan Specialist II to support loan originators, underwriters and borrowers through the mortgage loan process from application to closing. You will manage the borrower relationship and ensure compliance with internal policies.

You will process residential, HELOAN and HELOC loans, prepare disclosures, and collaborate with Attorneys, Branch Managers and Loan Officers to schedule closings while maintaining excellent customer service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years combined experience processing and closing loans.
• Proficient with Ellie Mae Encompass or similar LOS.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Process and close a minimum pipeline of 30 loans.
• Prepare compliant initial Loan Estimates and Closing Disclosures.
• Handle residential, HELOAN and HELOC applications from application to closing.
• Coordinate with Attorneys, Branch Managers and Loan Officers for closings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of lending product guidelines and regulatory expectations.
• Respond to borrower questions promptly and professionally.
