Qualifications

• Associates degree, or equivalent experience in lending or financial services with lending exposure.
• One year of mortgage processing, loan operations, loan origination experience, or NMLS registration.
• Knowledge of automated income/asset verification and underwriting services preferred.
• Familiarity with mortgage origination processes and systems.
• Strong time management and teamwork under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely processing of residential mortgage loan applications and meet deadlines.
• Process a variety of loan products levels and ensure compliance.
• Order automated income/asset verification and automated underwriting services.
• Review disclosures for compliance and verify supporting documentation.
• Order mortgage services through third party vendors and obtain missing documents.
• Communicate with customers, the MLO, and Underwriter to prepare applications for underwriting.
• Stay current on residential lending developments and participate in relevant courses.
