Qualifications

• Experience as a Loan Officer or similar with ability to independently manage a loan pipeline and client portfolio.
• Strong knowledge of Mortgage Industry and Mortgage Lending practices (conventional, FHA, VA).
• Familiarity with Underwriting standards and documentation requirements.
• Proven Customer Service skills and ability to explain complex information clearly.
• Proven track record in residential mortgage origination, preferably senior or high-volume.
• Current NMLS license in good standing and regulatory compliance.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment (in-office and remote).
• Proficiency with mortgage origination software and CRM tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Role Description

The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Florida and Michigan, with flexibility to work from home. This role is responsible for originating residential mortgage loans, advising clients on loan options, and guiding them through the entire loan application and approval process. Daily activities include assessing borrower needs, collecting and reviewing financial documentation, collaborating with underwriting and processing teams, and ensuring loans meet regulatory and company guidelines. The Senior Mortgage Loan Officer will maintain strong client relationships, provide ongoing customer service, manage a robust pipeline, and contribute to business growth through networking and referral development.
