Job summary

Cyprus Credit Union in West Jordan, UT seeks an experienced Mortgage Advisor III to originate residential loans and build strong relationships with Realtors, builders, and community partners. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Active NMLS registration required and must remain in good standing.
• Two or more years of residential mortgage origination experience.
• Experience working with Realtors, builders, and referral partners preferred.
• Strong understanding of mortgage products, underwriting guidelines, credit analysis, and regulatory lending requirements.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with pipeline management.

Responsibilities

• Originate residential mortgage loans and develop relationships with Realtors, builders, financial professionals, and community partners.
• Guide members from initial consultation through loan closing and manage the complete loan process.
• Develop and cultivate referral relationships to generate new mortgage opportunities.
• Provide expert guidance on loan products, rates, and lending requirements while delivering an exceptional member experience.
• Collaborate with processing, underwriting, and branch teams to ensure a smooth loan experience.
• Stay current on market trends, lending guidelines, compliance requirements, and local real estate activity.
