Qualifications

• 10+ years of database administration or data-platform engineering.
• 8+ years of hands-on MongoDB administration and engineering in production.
• Strong Linux administration experience (RHEL preferred).
• Experience with replica sets, sharding, high availability, and DR planning.
• Experience with MongoDB Atlas and related tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, deploy, administer, and support enterprise MongoDB environments across production and non-production landscapes.
• Lead installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, migrations, and lifecycle management.
• Design and operate replica sets and sharded clusters with proper topology and capacity planning.
• Define engineering standards, reference architectures, and operational controls.
• Collaborate with application, security, SRE, and cloud teams on data modeling and performance.
