Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking a Finance Risk and Controls leader to own the control posture for the Money Movement surface.

You will be the Finance risk authority in product launches, responsible for SOX environment design and remediation, and for ensuring regulatory obligations and accounting outcomes are built into new flows of funds. You will collaborate with Product, Engineering, Compliance, and Legal, guiding control architecture from design through post-launch stabilization, and you will drive

Qualifications

• 12+ years in risk and controls, internal audit, technical accounting, or Finance operations, with experience in payments/banking/fintech.
• Ownership of control design for new products or new payment flows, not just testing existing controls.
• Deep command of money movement mechanics: settlement timing, reconciliation, and related failure modes.
• Strong SOX 404 fluency, including deficiency evaluation and audits.
• Regulatory fluency to translate obligations into controls in cross-functional rooms.
• Ability to influence Product and Engineering without formal authority under launch pressure.
• Active AI practice expected at Intuit.

Responsibilities

• Lead Finance risk and controls on new money movement launches from design to launch readiness and stabilization.
• Design the control architecture for new flows of funds: settlement, reconciliation, and safeguarding.
• Define control readiness criteria and manage tension between launch dates and controls.
• Partner with Technical Accounting on structure decisions affecting accounting outcomes.
