The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) is seeking a Molecular Technologist III to support the John P. Murtha Cancer Center Research Program at Walter Reed Bethesda, MD.

You will coordinate complex molecular testing and support sequencing workflows in a clinical-research environment. The role requires ASCP certification, experience with NGS, nucleic acid isolation, PCR, LIMS proficiency, and the ability to present findings at meetings. U.S.

Formación

• U.S. Citizenship required.
• MB(ASCP) or SMB(ASCP) certification is required.
• Experience with molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid isolation and PCR.
• Experience with next-generation sequencing (NGS) platforms.
• Knowledge and experience with Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and conduct pre-analytical, analytical and post-analytical aspects of molecular testing.
• Develop, verify and validate molecular sequencing systems.
• Report results in scientific literature and presentations at national/international meetings.
• Prepare command and agency briefings as needed.
