The Henry M. Jackson Foundation for the Advancement of Military Medicine (HJF) seeks a Molecular Technologist III to support the MCCRP at Walter Reed Bethesda. U.S. Citizenship is required for this on-site role.

Responsibilities include coordinating DNA/RNA extraction, PCR and NGS workflows, maintaining CAP/CLIP standards, and training staff under the direction of the Medical Director. 100% on-site in Bethesda, Maryland with competitive benefits.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in biological science or similar fields.
• Minimum 6-8 years experience in molecular technologist roles.
• MB(ASCP) or SMB(ASCP) certification required or comparable certification.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate and conduct molecular testing focusing on DNA/RNA extraction, PCR and NGS assays.
• Monitor quality assurance metrics across testing phases to ensure accuracy.
• Design laboratory procedures to meet CAP and CLIP accreditation standards.
