Job summary

Terumo Blood and Cell Technologies in Lakewood, CO seeks a Molding Extrusion Technician II to maintain and improve injection molding and plastic extrusion equipment on 2nd shift, Mon-Fri 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, repair and optimize processes to minimize downtime.

Responsibilities include mold setups, extrusion line startup, calibration, and collaboration with engineers to implement improvements.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of direct plastic processing experience.
• Substitution of degree with relevant experience evaluated case by case.

Responsibilities

• Independently repairs, maintains and troubleshoots plastic molding and extrusion equipment.
• Performs mold setups and changes; calibrations and process changes as needed.
• Collaborates with engineers to implement improvements and reduce downtime.
• Maintains documentation and regulatory records; supports GMP and cleanroom needs.
• Oversees tooling, tools, and special equipment; trains maintenance staff as needed.
