Job summary
SyBridge Technologies is seeking an experienced Mold Maker to lead the build, assembly, repair, and validation of precision injection molds from start to finish in Erie, PA. You will read complex drawings, develop build plans, and maintain comprehensive documentation to ensure quality and traceability.
Responsibilities include mold assembly, troubleshooting, and supporting process improvements while safely operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
Qualifications
- Ten (10) years of related experience as a mold maker preferred.
- Red Seal certification is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of mold construction, assembly, repair, and troubleshooting.
- Experience safely operating overhead cranes and forklifts.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Build, fit, assemble, and repair injection molds from start to finish.
- Perform final inspections, document work, and maintain material traceability.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify tooling concerns and communicate improvements to the team.
- Safely operate overhead cranes and forklifts during mold handling.
- Support mold validation, troubleshooting, and process improvements.
