Job summary

SyBridge Technologies in Tennessee is seeking a skilled Mold Builder to join our manufacturing team. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, assemble molds, install components, and perform final inspections.

You will operate an overhead crane and forklift to move heavy molds (up to 50,000 lbs and 5,000 lbs) and ensure parts are aligned for testing. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, effective time management, and clear documentation

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Effective time management and documenting actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Perform final inspection, document work, and move parts.
• Fit and assemble a mold, install components, and verify tooling stock.
• Repair molds used in mass production.
• Use precision tools for in-process measurements.
• Notify about tooling issues and maintain organized workspace.
• Document shift handoffs and maintain logs.
• Plan mold-building steps, layout templates, and develop a mold-build plan.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and work-process docs.
• Operate overhead crane to move molds (up to 50,000 lbs) and set up presses.
• Operate forklift to transport molds (up to 5,000 lbs) for tryouts.
• Adhere to customer and lean manufacturing standards.
• Participate in meetings and training.
