Job summary

Paycom - ATS in Virginia (Fincastle) is seeking a 3rd Shift Molder Maintenance Technician who will train on the 1st shift band VI. The role supports maintenance and repair of injection-molding molds and collaborates with production and engineering to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training in molding, manufacturing and mechanics preferred.
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in mold maintenance or injection molding
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn mold maintenance and repair techniques.
• Strong attention to detail, good communication skills, basic computer skills for data entry, and a commitment to safety and quality.
• RJG Fundamentals of Injection Molding or similar certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in routine mold maintenance tasks to ensure molds are production ready.
• Support basic mold repairs under supervision.
• Conduct basic inspections of molds and report findings.
• Assist in troubleshooting minor mold issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and use PPE.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Record basic maintenance activities and logs.
• Assist in tracking mold parts, tools, and supplies.
• Participate in on-the-job training to develop skills.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to meet production goals.
