ACO, Inc. in Mentor, OH is seeking a Maintenance Mold Development technician responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical equipment systems and programmable logic controllers on production equipment.

You will perform a variety of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks, troubleshoot electro-mechanical issues, operate shop tools, and assist with installations and upgrades while keeping detailed repair records.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an Electrical Technician certification program, and hands on experience for a minimum of five years.
• Certificate in Equipment Maintenance from technical school; or two years related experience and/or Training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to operate company vehicle and mobile equipment Forklift, Reach Fork, scissor lift etc.
• Must have basic welding fabrications skills with ACR, MIG and TIG.
• Must have strong troubleshooting skill for electro-mechanical and building maintenance.
• Must have basic Computer/PLC troubleshooting skills understanding of ladder logic is helpful.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repairs involving electrical and mechanical components; observe equipment to detect hazards and service needs.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical/electrical systems such as circuits, PLC I/O, relays, and motor starters.
• Debug and repair 480-3 phase and DC 24V systems, drives, load cells, and power distribution.
• Install, retrofit, and upgrade equipment electrical and mechanical systems.
• Set up and operate machine tools; maintain tools and equipment in the shop and facility.
• Maintain neat inventory of spare parts and follow preventive maintenance schedules.
