Job summary

ACO, Inc. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to repair and maintain mechanical equipment and PLC controls on production equipment.

This role performs a variety of maintenance tasks and may back up other maintenance personnel on projects as required. You will troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems, weld fabrications (ARC, MIG, TIG), install and upgrade equipment, manage spares and repair records, and follow preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• Requires completion of an Electrical Technician certification program and 5+ years hands-on experience.
• Certificate in Equipment Maintenance or related training preferred.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and troubleshoot PLCs.

Responsibilities

• Observe equipment to detect hazards and determine service needs.
• Troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems including PLC I/O and drives.
• Repair and replace electrical and mechanical components quickly and safely.
• Install, retrofit, and upgrade electrical and mechanical systems.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and repair records.
• Follow PM schedules and safety/quality procedures.
