Job summary

Dynamic Group is seeking a Mold Designer in Coon Rapids, MN to create manufacturable injection-mold tooling using Creo or SolidWorks. The role collaborates with Engineering, Toolroom and customers to deliver accurate, optimized designs that meet stringent quality requirements.

Candidates should have five years of mold design experience and a Tool and Die or Mold Making diploma, with a strong ability to document designs and support production.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of related mold design experience.
• Diploma in Tool and Die or Mold Making or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with solid modeling software; Creo preferred, SolidWorks acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed designs for manufacturability of injection molded parts and tooling using CAD software for customer review.
• Develop mold design concepts that meet manufacturing and company requirements.
• Create complete mold designs using solid modeling software for customer approval.
• Analyze customer part models and provide design-for-manufacturability recommendations.
• Generate clear Bills of Materials and detail mold components per company standards.
• Collaborate with customers, Project Engineers, Toolroom and suppliers on design issues.
