Job summary

Anduril Industries is seeking a senior Systems Engineer to guide Digital Engineering strategy and support Mission Software, Product Engineering, and Business Development teams. This role will deliver MBSE artifacts and run analyses across complex defense systems.

You will build models, run simulations, and communicate results to leadership with clear visuals, enabling informed decisions. A Top Secret clearance and DoD/Space experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Top Secret clearance
• B.S. in aerospace, mechanical, computer science or similar engineering or technical field
• 8+ years Systems Engineering experience across the lifecycle
• Experience with MODSIM environments like AFSIM or JSE
• Understanding of MODSIM interfaces and behaviors
• Experience with requirements analysis and system design in a government context
• Proficiency with writing and owning systems-level requirements
• Strong engineering background in Aerospace, Dynamics & Controls, GNC, Systems
• Experience with SysML, DoDAF, UAFP, or similar
• Experience developing MBSE artifacts (OVs/ SVs/ activity diagrams/ use cases/ BDDs/ IBDs/ diagrams)
• Experience with Cameo MagicDraw or similar systems engineering software
• Outstanding communication skills, including visual presentation of complex data

Responsibilities

• Red-team designs, models, and analyses across a program
• Build models and simulations to prove or break a claim
• Work as a systems engineer to support PM, Mission Software Engineers, and Operations Analysts
• Communicate complex results with strong visual data presentations to engineers and leaders
